Colour has definitely made an impact on my own personal choices, as well as within my work style, for a very long time.

For me, there is nothing more eye-catching and standout than the use of colour - whether it is in outfit choices, interior design, or in

beautiful images of your little ones.

Children are happy and fun, with gorgeous little personalities and characters, so why try to make them neutral and ‘blend in’?

Within my images, I try to capture your little ones exactly how they are - steering away from beige clothing, perfect poses, or forcing them to do anything they don’t want to do.  A lot of my shots come from gentle prompts, or mostly playing games, singing songs and just generally having a good time in my St Albans studio.  If they’re having fun, it will shine through in the final images created, complimented by my use of colour.

Over the past few years, I can say with confidence that, in the local Hertfordshire area, there are very few photographers who embrace the use of colour in their images.  I can’t help but do this - it’s what I am instantly drawn to, so it shows through within my style and tone of work.

Although neutral tones have been popular since the trend of natural light photography (initially emerging from lockdown) I can see the tide is now turning, with people wanting something a little bit different and stand out - they’re wanting more….

If you’re looking for bright, vibrant images that match your little one’s personalities, I’d love to work with you creating your next set of memories. Please get in touch to discuss your session, whether you're looking for a newborn, maternity, cake smash, birthday, milestone or family session, I have shoots available for all.
