Newborn Sessions

Having a new baby is such a special time for the whole family. As a newborn photographer in Hertfordshire, I believe it is important to capture memories right from birth, as they grow up far too quickly - blink and the time has passed. A newborn session is the perfect way to do this, capturing images and moments to treasure forever, along with the gorgeous connections and love created from this new arrival.

Between 7 and 14 days old is a popular time for a newborn session, however the best time is when everyone (especially Mum) is feeling comfortable with leaving the house and visiting the studio - babies are never too old to create beautiful memories. However, if you feel an in home newborn session would be better for you, please do get in touch and we can discuss this option as well.

If you know you want a newborn session whilst pregnant, please do get in touch, the best time to confirm your session is around your 20 week scan. We can check availability and pencil you in for a suitable date - I only take on one newborn session per shooting day, to allow wriggle time for early or overdue babies.

My Newborn photography style is natural, modern and relaxed. I always go with a baby led approach to my sessions, so if baby needs feeding or changing during the session that's fine; the most important thing to me is that everyone is relaxed and happy.
