Where is your studio?
My studio is in beautiful St Albans, Hertfordshire, very near to the M25, with easy access from Potters Bar, Hatfield, Harpenden, Welwyn, Watford, Hemel Hempstead and more. It is set up with paper backdrops, studio flash lighting and various props to use for your session.
Do you offer location shoots as well as studio?
Absolutely! I have a number of recommended locations around Hertfordshire, depending on the time of year and different settings for your session. Pop me a message if you'd like a location session and we can chat.
How old should my baby be for a newborn session?
Between 7-14 days is ideal if you are looking to capture sleepy shots and more pose varieties, however newborns at any age are just beautiful, it's never too late.
Do you shoot different themes?
A big yes!
I love themed shoots, especially Halloween, Easter and Christmas! I run lots of them across the year, keep an eye out on my social pages and on my homepage for details.
Your cake smash shoots look like fun!
They are SO much fun! I love these shoots and they aren't actually as messy as you'd think (well sometimes!) They're fantastic for a first birthday celebration and the images are just perfect memories. Bespoke cakes are available for the sessions, as well as the use of my client wardrobe, get in touch for further details.
My baby isn't happy /is poorly on shoot day, what do I do?
Don't worry about what your baby might be like or do in the session - trust me when I say I've seen it all, as a parent myself, nothing phases me!
I always try to ensure we make the booking on a suitable day, at a time when baby won't be too hungry or tired, but as we know, they like to surprise us! If there is a problem on the day, please contact me ASAP and we can chat, but please don't worry
Do you only photograph babies and children?
Not at all! I've photographed people of every age, from babies to Grandparents! I love capturing extended families and older children too, along with events, products and headshots for businesses. Do you offer advice before the day eg. what clothing to wear, what to bring?
Definitely! Once your session is booked, I send you my welcome guide, which has advice on outfits to wear, favourite toys to bring and much more! However, if you do have any other questions after receiving this, please do ask.
Is it just digital images you offer, or are printed products and wall art available?
Both! I have a beautiful new product range available, after spending time carefully selecting each piece to include - making sure the products are of the highest quality and that there is something for everyone. My catalogue is sent with your confirmation email so you get to see what is available before your session/viewing your image gallery.
I want a session! How do I book?
Thank you! Send me a message through my contact form and I will get back to you as soon as I'm back at my desk. I will send you my booking form to fill out (which also has details to pay the booking fee to secure your date/time) and once paid, you're booked in! I then email you my welcome guide with confirmation details and begin to get excited for your session!
